This little book is a visual identification guide
for animals likely to be encountered on game drives
in the eastern bushveld game reserves and parks in
Southern Africa. The bushveld houses over 200 larger
mammals, more than 500 bird species and a wealth of
reptiles, amphibians, fish, and invertebrates.
Animals encountered on game drives can be from the
entire spectrum of the animal world, but this booklet
concentrates on the larger mammal species, only a few
small species, and some of the common birds that may
be seen.
